Why 'Doctrina de me'?
Yeah, the first question people ask me after reading my posts. Why 'Doctrina de me'? What does it mean? 'Doctrina de me' is a Latin phrase which means learning about myself. Every photograph of mine has a story, similarly there's a story behind every action of mine.
I am a random guy who never tried to concentrate on reading books or write stuff, not even on a paper. People often kept saying, they love the way I describe things. That's when I started writing on paper, I knew I wasn't that good in vocab but I could write good stories. I wanted to become a film-maker, hence writing really helped me. Writing on a paper was fine because you write for yourself. I didn't have any intention to start a blog until I read Soumya's blog. If you are wondering who Soumya is you can refer to my 3rd post "That girl!". Yeah, so after reading her blog I thought of making an attempt to write. That thought just flew into my mind and I just did it. And then comes the hardest part of blogging, a name for your blog.
Naming something is not an easy job, because it represents what you want to show to the world. I started searching in Google (you know laziness :P). Then I thought, "Dude! if it's your blog, why name it based on someone else's idea?". So there came this name Doctrina de me. If you observe clearly all my blog posts are about me, happenings around me & me. Hence I felt, what else would be apt than this!
Days after I got used to writing, I've been hearing about astrology from a dear person of mine. You know, it is funny as well as interesting to know what kind of person you are, based on your Zodiac sign. I was told that I'm a libran and I can balance things in my life. I even learned that I am selfish. Shocked? Yes I am selfish. I always intend to be happy. I would do anything to make myself or people around me happy. Hence I always go in search of happiness. A wise girl once said, write not because people are going to read it, write because some day in future if you look back you'll have something to read. Your past doesn't need to be a history always, just take care that its your past and its worth sharing. Hell yeah, I can proudly tell, my life would make a good story.
Life is full of surprises is what I believe. O yes! my life never fails to surprise me. Right after I started writing, my vocab was getting better, my interest towards literature stuff was growing. People started calling me, "Self-centered ass". I am surely not an ass, but yeah I am self-centred. I learned a lot from what I did in my past. And yes all those moments are worth sharing, hence I write whatever I feel like writing.
Yeah, I do know people often say, forget the past and don't bother about your future. But what you are today, is definitely past the next day. I have good memories to share. Hence I learn from my mistakes, my experiences. Doctrina de me it is!
