A Perfect Valentine
"Love is such a b*tch", he said and moved on. Since then love started searching for him.
"May be love is not my thing", he kept saying to himself every time love ditched him, every f***ing time love ripped his soul apart.
"I'm sorry to say this, but my heart belongs to someone now. I'm pretty sure you can't find someone like me, but good luck with that."11 girls received this text who had a crush on him, the day he saw her.
He followed her for an year, kept imagining life with her. Little did he know, she always loved him but she couldn't tell him that. One fine night he received a text from her which prompted him to keep the conversation alive!
"Hey! Are you free for lunch tomorrow?"
"Yes, I'm free. I was waiting for this moment since I first saw you. By the way, what is it that we are meeting for?"
"Don't you think both of us know it?"
"I'll pick you up at 11"
Zomato was busy showing him the most romantic places in the city for lunch. The sight of a picture stopped him, he couldn't scroll it any further. Corner table in the restaurant, with tulips on one side in the lawn and red roses on the table. Can it get better? He booked that table and started searching for the best outfit for his first date. Not his first date with a girl, but he wanted it to be his last. Even archaeological excavations wouldn't have been this hard, he made his room a mess in the process of finding the best dress for the date. Finally at 3 in the morning he decided on what to wear, but little did he know the day was all about talking and not the looks. He must have hardly slept for 4 hours may be. Nervousness took over his mind, questions were the only words he was left with.
Next morning he started to pick her up. Earlier in the morning, he cleaned his bike for 2 hours (Even vehicle servicing guys would not do it for so long. Just saying :P). He picked blue roses for her, because, obviously she loves blue the most. Handing them to her, "You look stunning", he complimented. Those 17 minutes 37 seconds were the most mesmerizing moments in his life. Many girls sat behind him, but this one was special to him. Love has always been a surprise to him.
"I've been showing you the painful side every time I was with you, sure you still want me?", love asked him. "You gave me pain and happiness, and asked me choose between them. I wanted her to be happy so I chose the pain. Always!" , he replied. She sat there looking at him with that cute smile. His heartbeat raised, every time he stared at her.
"I always waited for this moment. I saw you an year ago and was following you since then. I think you are the one I kept searching. I think I L...."
"I know"
"Sorry?"
"I LOVE YOU VIKRAM."
"WHAT?"
"Don't you?"
"I need a minute. Did you just..."
"Yes, I said I LOVE YOU."
"Is it happening or am I still asleep?"
"Vikram! Ever since I saw you an year ago, I fell for you. I was afraid to talk to you, looking at so many girls around you. But I think its time, I confess my love for you. I'm leaving to US in a week. I had to tell all this, else I would never get a chance to meet you again. I know you're with someone else, lucky girl whoever it is. Thanks for meeting me. I think I need to leave now."

"Bye, Vikram."

"Come with me", he said grabbing her hand and they went on a ride. He took her to the end of the city, sea side, top of the cliff. He told her how much he loved her, how his life has changed since the day he saw her at that mall.
"Your smile, is what gave me the hope of living even in the hardest situations.
You have no idea how the last night has been.
You have no idea how the last night has been.
The mess in my house will show you my struggles to impress you.
The letter in my bag will show you how much I love you.
The ring in my pocket shows you how ready I am to be with you.
I Love you Nitya"
"Are you sure Vikram?", she asked.
But her eyes said something else. He was waiting for her to speak her fears out. "Let's go" he replied. Surprised by his reply, she silently went along with him. He took her straight to her home. To her surprise, she saw both the families together smiling.
"Thank you" she said. "Thank you" he said.
He had the answers to all her questions, she was the answer to all his questions. Ain't that enough to be a perfect valentine?
