Happy Mother's Day
Mom, the word itself is a comfort zone. Just when I was about to start writing, I walked through this timeline. Right from when I was born.

It's all blurred, you barely feel things. By the time you actually realize whats happening around, you're crying. Crying at your highest pitch and at that moment, probably the only moment where you can sense this woman smiling, watching you cry. Isn't it beautiful? You actually made your mom happy just by landing on this earth. How old are you? Probably 10 mins by the time she holds you. That's your first achievement, my friend. I love you mom. 💓

Look at you crawling all over the house. Have you ever seen a mom actually ignoring the kid? Never! Not even in her dreams is she going to do that. You're her rockstar, those tiny teeny gibberish words you spell are the lullabies to her. Just before you think you're losing the fight against gravity, she's there to hold you from falling down. In short "Mom to the rescue", err.. Supermom? May be. I actually had this funny thought. Moms put their babies to bed and try to sleep but cannot, because they start falling in love with how adorable their kids are while napping. Just before she even thinks of dozing off, she's afraid the kid might need her. That's how much she loves you, that you need her even when you're asleep. I love you mom. 💓

Aww, look at you in that short cute school uniform, dressing up for your first day. Frankly, yes, kids look really cute in their school uniforms, that too when its their first day. Everything looks well, mom fed you, she dressed you up in this weird dress which was probably the first time you ever wore it. Suddenly you can feel that your little finger isn't in your mom's hands and you're pushed into this strange place with lots of people around. Just when you are about to think, that's okay I'm going back to mom, gates close and even before you realise, you can see your face already wet with tears filled in your eyes. Teacher keeps telling A B C D.. but all you can think of, is your mom let all this happen. You're actually mad at her now. School bell rings and all you know is you're running out of your classroom knowing that your mom is waiting for you. You run, run as if you're escaping some place scary and go hug her. Ah! that hug, best place to be in the whole world. Comfort zone! That's your comfort zone for that age. You are my comfort zone mom. I love you.💓

It's been a tiring day at school, you're home and all you do as soon as you land on the sofa is "Moooom". You have no idea why! but you need her as soon as you get home. You've been fighting with people about your broken batman toy or that you weren't allowed to bat first. She's probably been thinking of what to cook for you. How cute is she? She doesn't care what your "big sophisticated international problem" is. She would just say, "Is my child sad? No kid, no one can hurt you" and hands you over this laddoo and you forget what actually happened before. How magical these laddoo things are! They just melt your soul. I think only mom's can use things as effectively as they can be used. That's mom for you. 💓

It's 4 am and you're up to study for your last test. Just before you thought you'll wake up silently and start studying, you can here footsteps approaching you. Lights on! It's mom.😍 She's holding something in her hands, whatever it is, I'm pretty sure it was yummy. She gives you that magical thing and sits beside you, so that you won't have to suffer if the exam is going to be tough. Every now and then, you doze off, and she keeps thinking may be my baby is tired. Mom, how lovely are you? I doze off like an idiot and you think I need more sleep.
Results time, you come running home and start shouting "Mooooom! Mom! Mom!". There she is walking out of the kitchen with celebrations in her hand. She doesn't need to know what you've scored, she's happy that you're excited about it. And even if you're sad, she's there for you patting on your back telling that it's okay, my baby doesn't need to win the world he's already won my heart. Those motivational words! 🙏🙏 She may not have graduated from Harvard or MIT, but she has taken an oath to herself that she'll put a smile on your face. Always. Mom💓
Quite a lot of things you can think of, she's the boss anywhere, anytime. Talk about being savage, you have no idea what she could do. Sarcasm? Bro she's the mother. Bargaining? Tu rehne de. Or just read this. She is the best. Period. All you can do is, turn to your mom and say

You are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and one there will ever be. You are the reason, why I respect women so much. I am pretty sure, you have forgone so much just because I needed something. I promise now, that you won't have to forgo anything, anymore. I promise, I'd do anything to make you happy. I promise, I'll fight against the odds for you to make things right. If you say its right, IT IS RIGHT! I need to tell you one thing ma, one little thing. (Singing friends theme in mind!
